FYI to PP Members

By now, you should have received by email a compilation of all your songs that you previously submitted to me. As per my June 28 blog, burn it, bring it, and of course, bring your list to the reunion. By doing this, all of us can participate in....Name that Tune!!! Each one of us (or team) will have to guess the artist, song, and the person whom you think chose it. Rules and regulations to be further discussed September 14, 2006.

Did you know....

For telus mobility users. Did you know that if you just pressed '1' on your celly that it goes directly to your voicemail without the hassle of entering your pin number. Yup, good to know after all these years.

Did you also know that you can text people from your pc? I haven't tried this, but through mytelusmobility you can do it.

Summer in Van

Well, it appears that Vegas has fell through for me and I will be returning to Van after Drayton Valley. Just as well, perhaps a retail therapy session will be somewhat of a replacement.

In any case, the summers in Van have been awesome for me and here is what y'all are missing out on, check it. What you see here is a view from Kits pool, this bay is also called Howe Sound.

Notice to PP Members

Each member will be responsible for downloading their music list, burning and of course bringing it for the reunion. I'm embarrassed that I never thought of this in the first place!!! I will email your music lists you have submitted to me, as I'm sure you have forgotten or perhaps your choice of songs has changed.

So if each one burned their own music, everyone brings it and I (as the administrator), will take the CD's and let the games begin. Does that make sense?

Work Life

My work life as a civil servant. As exciting as that sounds, I do get to participate in some pretty cool projects. To the right is a zodiac that I assisted in procuring for the police. And of course, Chuck's little bro, Prince Edward on his walkabout at City Hall.

So you think you can dance

This is my new favorite show and I have been watching it religiously since it's conception this season. I am very disappointed with the first cuts from the judges - the Russian and Erin were cut and I personally think it should have been Ivan and that ballet girl.

Retail Therapy

Check it, I am sporting my new pair of BCBG flats. I figured I can't buy a house, I may as well just buy shoes. Retail therapy also includes purchases towards hobbies, such as gardening, for those who do gardening, check out my lovely garden .....along with my new patio furniture (what's a garden without patio furniture?).
